About this role

Our clinic in Campsie is currently seeking a Chief Medical Imaging Technologist to join the team.

The role is a full time position, reporting to the Regional Technical Manager working Monday to Friday, between 8:30am-5:30pm.

Our Campsie clinic provides the following modalities: X-Ray, OPG, BMD, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.

Role Overview:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management and operations of the clinic.
• Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.
• Drive staff engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting collaboration, motivation, and retention.
• Manage a core technical team that rotate through other clinics in the Inner West.
• Work closely with senior staff to plan and manage the daily workforce requirements, considering productivity levels in the clinic by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning, and general leave management as required.
• Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

✅ Current AHPRA and EPA Radiation Licence or ASAR Registration.

✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

✅ Proven leadership experience.
