Our Inner Brisbane North clinics are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist/Booking Agent to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis, working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.30pm. You will be rostered to work across: Fortitude Valley, SO+GI, Ascot, Chermside clinics Wavell Heights, Strathpine and Albany Creek.

Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients courteously at reception.
Answer complex booking inquiries professionally and courteously.
Assist clients with scheduling and managing their bookings.
Provide detailed information about our services and offerings.
Administrative Tasks:
Manage booking records confidentially and efficiently.
Handle internal emails and inquiries.
Maintain a tidy and organised workspace and reception area
Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).
Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, DVA and Workcover.
Collaboration:
Work autonomously and as part of a team.
Communicate with referring doctors and staff courteously.
Confidentiality:
Maintain patient personal and financial information confidentiality.
Complete recalls and follow privacy protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills
Prior experience in a customer service or booking role is highly advantageous but not essential.
Desired Traits:
Bubbly personality and ability to think on your feet.
Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
