Medical Receptionist

About this role

Our clinic in Drummoyne is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.

This position is permanent full time, reporting to the office manager. You will be working 8 hour shifts between Monday to Friday between 8:30am - 5:30pm, with occasional 1pm - 9pm shifts rotating around the team.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
