About this role
I-MED Radiology Network is pleased to be offering an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the busy team in our Southeastern area clinics.
The successful candidate(s) will work in various clinics in the Frankston and Mulgrave areas.
This position is part time, up to 4 days per week. Shifts are weekdays, regular business hours.
There is an opportunity for experienced staff to participate in the on-call.
Reporting to the Area Nurse Co-Ordinator and Chief Radiographer and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality, Intervention Radiology, and recovery services to the clinic.

Key accountabilities include:
- Assisting the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure.
- Interventional Procedures Include: Central catheter insertion, Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections.
- Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers
Key selection criteria:
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven acute nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work a flexible roster
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous Experience in Radiology/Procedural Nursing
