- Level 2: I-MED Radiology Network Limited
- Job Family: Information Technology
- Job Type: Permanent FT
About this role
Role: Infrastructure Engineer
Workplace type: Office-based / Hybrid (Minimum 2 days in the Office/Week)
Location: Sydney
About us
I-MED Radiology Network is Australia and New Zealand's largest diagnostic imaging network, offering medical imaging and radiology services including x-ray, PET, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography and interventional procedures. Across Australia and New Zealand, we operate 240 clinics and perform approximately 7 million patient procedures each year, making us one of the largest providers of medical imaging in the world.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take the lead on a high-impact Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) project that will shape the future of identity and access management across one of the largest medical imaging networks in the world. You'll play a key role in strengthening our cybersecurity posture while gaining hands-on experience with modern infrastructure technologies in a large, complex enterprise environment.
In addition to leading the MFA rollout, you'll collaborate on a range of innovative infrastructure initiatives and contribute to critical BAU operations involving virtualisation, backups, patching, SQL, and lifecycle management. This role offers a strong platform for career growth, exposure to cutting-edge tools, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in healthcare technology.
What you'll do
- Identity & Access Management: Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain critical enterprise identity services.
- Security & Operations Management: Initiate and develop proactive management of operational management processes, systems and standards to achieve service level targets for quality, cost, scalability and security.
- Lifecycle Management: Planning and executing lifecycle management activities including server operating system and service upgrades to ensure ongoing supportability and compliance.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement real-time monitoring, respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships, provide support, and act as a technical resource.
About you
You'll bring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent IT certifications, along with solid experience in an infrastructure role where you've taken ownership of Identity & Access Management - ideally with exposure to Okta. You're confident managing and supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD/Entra ID, and you're familiar with conditional access, SSO, and MFA. You've also had hands-on experience delivering and maintaining enterprise infrastructure services, including virtualised servers, backups, patching, and SQL servers. If you're someone with strong analytical skills, a knack for mentoring others, clear communication, and a proactive, customer-first mindset, you'll thrive in this role.
Role Requirements: Willingness to travel infrequently and work in a 24/7 On Call roster.
At I-MED, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where your skills and expertise will be valued. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the services we offer to our patients across ANZ while advancing your career.
Equal Opportunity Employer: I-MED is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
